The cleaning-in-place (CIP) process is a critical part of hygiene management in beer and beverage production systems. Tiantai Brewtech has recently completed the fabrication of a 400L CIP System combined with a portable pump unit, designed to ensure efficient tank cleaning, pipeline circulation, and process hygiene control.
Main Features of 400L CIP System
The CIP system includes one caustic tank with insulation, one single layer acid tank, one pump, heating elements, one control cabinet and a stainless steel frame etc.
1. Safe and Convenient Tank Design
Both CIP tanks are equipped with manhole doors instead of glass level gauges, allowing operators to safely and conveniently add caustic solution or other cleaning liquids directly into the tanks. This design significantly improves operational safety and simplifies chemical handling during CIP preparation.
2. Optimized Heating Element Structure
The heating elements have been relocated from the bottom to the side wall of the tanks. This improved configuration makes the heating system easier to connect, maintain, and repair, while also enhancing long-term reliability and reducing maintenance downtime.
3. Automatic Temperature Control System
The CIP system is equipped with a temperature controller integrated into the control cabinet, enabling fully automatic temperature regulation during the cleaning process. This ensures stable cleaning performance and reduces manual operation, improving overall process efficiency.
4. Enhanced Safety with Anti-Dry-Burning Protection
For higher operational safety, the system includes an anti-dry-burning protection device for the electric heating elements. This feature effectively prevents damage caused by low liquid levels and ensures safe heating of cleaning solutions during operation.
Advantages of the Portable Pump
In addition to the CIP system, this project is also equipped with some mobile portable pumps, designed to provide flexible liquid transfer and assist CIP circulation across different production areas.
The portable pump unit offers several key advantages:
1. Flexible and Mobile Operation
The pump unit is mounted on a compact mobile frame, allowing operators to easily move it between different tanks and processing areas. This greatly improves operational flexibility within brewery and beverage production facilities.
2. Multi-Function Application
It can be used not only for CIP liquid circulation, but also for transferring cleaning solutions, wort, or other process liquids, making it a versatile auxiliary unit in daily production.
3. High-Performance Pumping Efficiency
Equipped with a high-quality sanitary centrifugal pump, the unit ensures stable flow rate and reliable performance, meeting the hygiene requirements of beer and beverage production environments.
4. Easy Connection and Operation
The quick-connect design allows the pump to be integrated easily with CIP pipelines and tanks, reducing setup time and improving overall working efficiency during cleaning and liquid transfer processes.
The 400L CIP system and mobile pump unit have been fully completed and tested in our workshop, and are now ready for delivery.
