Project Overview
S’ARD Craft Brewery, also known as Birrifitziu Mastrinu, is a craft brewery with 500L brewery equipment located in Perfugas, Sardinia, Italy.
The brewery is located inside the historic Molino Deperu and combines craft beer production with the local culture and character of the Anglona region. The brewery also welcomes visitors through its Tap Room, creating a space where people can discover locally produced craft beer and the surrounding territory.
For this project, TIANTAI supplied a complete 500L brewery equipment solution covering the main brewing process from malt milling and wort production to fermentation, cooling, CIP cleaning and process control.
The system was designed around a 500L three-vessel brewhouse, with 1000L fermentation tanks and a dedicated glycol cooling system.
Compact 500L Brewery Equipment for Craft Beer Production
This project is a good example of a compact commercial 500L brewery system designed around the actual needs of a craft brewery.
Instead of supplying only a brewhouse, TIANTAI provided a complete equipment package covering:
Malt Milling → Mashing → Lautering → Boiling & Whirlpool → Wort Cooling → Fermentation → Glycol Cooling → CIP Cleaning
The complete system includes the main brewing equipment as well as supporting systems such as pumps, sanitary piping, cooling, CIP and control.
This integrated approach helps simplify equipment coordination and provides the brewery with a complete production system from one supplier.

The brewery’s beer range includes beers inspired by German and Franconian brewing traditions, while the brewery itself is rooted in the history and character of Sardinia.
