Bright beer tanks/brite tank are used for the storage of the beer prior to being served or packaged. And the secondary fermentation proceeds in the bright tank. So it normally need glycol jacket to control temperature. For brewpubs, serving is often done by pumping or pressurizing the beer toward the serving location. But if budget is not sufficient, the fermentation tank added carbonation device can serve as bright beer tank.
