Project Overview Of 1600L Brewery Equipment

This project showcases a long-term cooperation between Tiantai Brewtech and BERS NOVA SRL, a brewery located in Romania. The partnership began in 2018 with the supply of a complete 1600L brewery equipment system, and was later expanded in 2022 with additional fermentation and bright beer tanks to support increased production capacity.

The two-stage cooperation demonstrates Tiantai Brewtech’s capability to deliver reliable brewery equipment solutions that not only perform well at initial installation, but also allow seamless expansion as the brewery grows.

 

First Phase: 1600L Brewery Equipment (2018)

In 2018, BERS NOVA SRL planned to establish a commercial brewery and required a complete brewing system covering brewhouse, fermentation, cooling, CIP, and control systems. Based on the customer’s production plan and brewing process, Tiantai Brewtech designed and manufactured a turnkey 1600L brewery equipment solution, including:

• Grain Mill and Flexible Auger for efficient malt handling

• 1600L Two-Vessel Brewhouse (Mash/Lauter Tun + Kettle/Whirlpool)

• 2200L Hot Liquor Tank (HLT) and 2200L Cold Liquor Tank (CLT)

• 4 × 1600L Stainless Steel Fermentation Tanks

• 2 × 1600L Bright Beer Tanks

• 2000L Glycol Tank with industrial Glycol Chiller

• CIP System for effective cleaning and sanitation

• Central Control Panel for brewhouse and fermentation operation

All brewery equipment was manufactured using food-grade stainless steel and designed in accordance with international brewing and safety standards.

 

Manufacturing, Delivery & Installation Of 1600L Brewery Equipment

Throughout the manufacturing stage, Tiantai Brewtech applied strict quality control and inspection procedures to ensure equipment performance, durability, and compliance with technical specifications. After completion, the brewery equipment was carefully packaged and shipped to Romania.

Installation, commissioning, and startup were carried out smoothly with Tiantai’s technical guidance. The brewhouse and fermentation systems were successfully brought into operation, achieving stable performance and consistent beer quality as expected.

Second Phase: 1600L Brewery EquipmentExpansion (2022)

After three years of successful operation, BERS NOVA SRL decided to expand its production capacity to meet growing market demand. In 2022, the brewery once again chose Tiantai Brewtech as its equipment supplier for the expansion project.

The second-phase supply included:

• 2 × 3200L Fermentation Tanks

• 1 × 3200L Bright Beer Tank

The new tanks were fully integrated with the existing brewery system, allowing the brewery to increase fermentation volume while maintaining consistent process control and product quality. The compatibility between the original equipment and the new tanks ensured a smooth expansion without major modifications to the existing layout.
