Bent Bine Brewery is a family-owned craft brewery located in Belfair, Washington State, USA. This project is a complete 10HL brewery equipment solution, designed, manufactured, and installed to support a small commercial craft brewery. The equipment was customized based on the customer’s brewing process, space layout, and production goals. With practical design and reliable performance, this brewery system helped Bent Bine Brewery successfully start its commercial brewing operation in October 2017.

Project Background

Like many other microbreweries, the owner Tim started brewing beer with home brewing kits. As his brewing experience grew, he decided to expand production by investing in a professionalĀ  system and opening a real microbrewery.

We received Tim’s inquiry in August 2016, with a rough plan for a 10HL brewery equipment setup. Over the following two months, we communicated closely on all key technical details, including brewing methods, heating solutions, layout, automation level, and tank drawings. After several rounds of discussion, the final configuration was confirmed.

Brewery Equipment Manufacturing & Delivery

Before manufacturing, the layout and 3D design were completed. This helped the customer clearly understand the placement of equipment, piping routes, and operation flow, ensuring smooth installation and efficient use of space. The manufacturing, testing, and debugging of the complete system took approximately 90–100 days. After final inspection, it was shipped from China to the USA, with a transportation time of about 20 days.

On the loading day, all the brewery components was carefully packed and loaded into three 40-foot containers, ensuring safe and secure delivery.

Brewery Equipment Installation in the USA

For installation, we sent one experienced engineer to the USA. Tim arranged the flight tickets, accommodation, and meals during the installation period. Before our engineer arrived, Tim had already completed part of the brewery equipment connections himself, especially for the heating system.

The full installation and commissioning took around two weeks, after which Bent Bine Brewery officially opened and began brewing.
