In 2021, TIANTAI had the great pleasure of cooperating with IOI Brewery in Indonesia to install a complete 1000L 3 vessel beer brewery equipment system in their production facility.
This project was designed to meet the growing demand for craft beer in the Indonesian market. The 1000L brewery equipment offers a balanced solution between production efficiency and investment control, making it ideal for expanding microbreweries and commercial craft beer operations.
The 3-vessel brewhouse configuration ensures independent processes for mashing, lautering, boiling, and whirlpooling. Compared with compact 2-vessel systems, this design improves brewing efficiency and batch turnover, supporting consistent beer quality and higher daily output.
With the combination of 1000L and 2000L unitank fermentation tanks, IOI Brewery now has the flexibility to produce multiple beer styles simultaneously while optimizing fermentation cycles.
Design, Manufacturing, and Installation
Before manufacturing, TIANTAI provided detailed layout drawings and brewery equipment planning based on the clientās workshop dimensions. The 3D design ensured proper space utilization and smooth workflow between brewhouse, fermentation, and auxiliary systems.
All 1000L beer brewery equipment was manufactured in TIANTAIās production facility under strict quality control standards. After shipment to Indonesia, IOI Brewery carried out the installation successfully.
The installation process required precise alignment of brewhouse vessels, unitank positioning, piping connection, glycol circulation setup, and commissioning of the control system. Although the process was challenging, the IOI team completed the installation professionally with our remote technical support.
This project highlights how well-designed brewery equipment combined with proper guidance can result in a smooth and efficient setup.
Brewery Operation and First Brew
After commissioning, IOI Brewery started brewing its first batch successfully.
