Newly Finished 4000L Kombucha Fermentation Tank Successfully Delivered

We are pleased to share the completion of a 4000L kombucha fermentation tank, specially customized for one of our long-term partners.

This is the second time this customer has purchased kombucha fermentation tanks from us, mainly to support their production expansion. As their market demand continues to grow, scaling up fermentation capacity was the natural next step. We are truly grateful for the continued trust and confidence they place in our equipment and team.

Designed for Professional Kombucha Production

This 4000L flap-top kombucha fermentation tank is specifically engineered for:

  • First-stage kombucha fermentation

  • SCOBY cultivation and storage

The tank structure and functional design focus on stability, hygiene, and ease of operation—key factors in maintaining consistent kombucha quality.

Key Features & Technical Highlights

1. Flap-Top Design for Easy SCOBY Handling
The wide-opening top door allows convenient access for SCOBY management and cleaning.
To ensure smoother and safer opening and closing, we designed a reinforced assist lever connecting the tank body and the door. This structure reduces operator effort and improves operational safety.

The client is very satisfied with this practical and user-friendly improvement.

2. Jacketed Structure for Temperature Control
The tank is equipped with a heating jacket, which can function as a hot water heating jacket to maintain fermentation temperature within the optimal 22–28°C range.

Stable temperature control is critical for kombucha fermentation, especially in regions with fluctuating ambient conditions. This design helps ensure consistent flavor development and reliable fermentation performance.

3. Oā‚‚ Aeration Port with Stone
An integrated Oā‚‚ aeration port with diffusion stone is installed to support oxygen supply during SCOBY growth.

Controlled aeration promotes healthy microbial activity and enhances fermentation stability, which is particularly important during the initial fermentation stage.

Built for Expansion & Long-Term Growth

This project reflects not only equipment delivery, but also the growing success of our customer’s kombucha business. As production capacity expands, reliable and scalable fermentation solutions become essential.

At Tiantai, we are committed to providing professional beverage fermentation equipment tailored to each client’s process and production goals—whether for kombucha, beer, cider, or other specialty beverages.

We look forward to continuing our partnership and supporting more kombucha producers in achieving stable, high-quality production.
